Norfolk Weekend

A couple of drunken days in damp East Anglia was never likely to produce anything of note but there are one or two captures from the Sunday - the only sun day.

Wigeon flight into the Lakenheath RSPB reserve

A Spoonbill picks it's way through the herd of feral Greylags at Titchwell RSPB reserve

Juvenile Goldfinch gets stuck into teasel seeds

A battered Peacock takes advantage of late-flowering Buddleia

A sleepy Woodpigeon enjoys the last of the summer sun

That peacock doesn't look battered to me - what a lovely position you captured there and the color is outstanding!
I really like the Spoonbill among the terns - very cool.
Funny -- as common as the Goldfinch is around here - don't think I ever took notice of a juvenile...

Oops - sorry those are NOT Terns ;-)

You certainly didn't come up empty....the wigeon flight and the butterfly are my favorites, but they are all nice.

enjoyed your pictures, but I was thinking when I saw the sleepy woodpigeon, that is probably about what you must look like after your 'drunken' days!! Keep on posting .. love it!
